How to view your Statistics

By viewing and analyzing your Statistics you will know how well your QR codes are performing around the world on a daily basis and on multiple operating systems and mobile devices.

Upon logging in to your account, you will instantly notice the "Statistics" button right next to your Project(s). Click that in order to view the stats of all the QR codes within a project.

If you want to view the stats of a unique QR code, you can do so by clicking on "Manage project" > "QR setup" > "Stats".

You can also connect your account to a Google Analytics ID in order to retrieve even more data from people who scan your QR codes such as age and gender. This information will be displayed if a user has a Google account associated to the device used to scan the code.

Statistics include:
  • Total visits
  • Total views
  • Daily analytics
  • Countries and Cities
  • Audience (It won't display stats for iOS devices)
  • Operating systems
  • Mobile devices

Finally, regarding the difference between page views and page visits, a page view is a visit to a page on a website. If the visitor reloads a page, this counts as an additional page view. If the user navigates to a different page and then returns to the original page, this will count as another page view.

A visit, on the other hand, is defined as a sequence of consecutive page views without a 30-minute break. A visit always contains one or more page views. A new visit is a visit from a NEW user.

A complex algorithm decides if the visit is a new or returning visit. This depends on IP address, Cookies and many other variables.

NOTE: This feature is only available to Silver and Gold users.
